Today was the final day of the 100 hour Yoga immersion and like all points of completion it was tinged with both joy and a little sadness.
Over the years I have felt exceptionally grateful for those I have studied with and the periods of consistent interaction with them. From the outset of immersion I considered it an opportunity to pay my respects to my teachers, by passing this on in a way that would fully honour both them and the participants.
On a very thoughtful thank you note, one of the group stated that they believed at the outset of the immersion that it would lead them to “something wonderful”.
Yoga does this indeed, it reveals the wonder and splendor of this moment, of yourself, of each element of reality. This life itself is something wonderful, something majestic, Yoga has been encouraging us to recognise this for millennia.
Thanks to everyone who was part of it, to the Pod Project for hosting it, to cafe marmalade for the lovely soups each month
It has been a delight to teach the immersion and spend time with everyone for a weekend each month, enjoying this magnificence that is life.
