First journal entry and website update for a long time!

Writing this I’m aware that the last journal entry on the website was early 2020, pre Covid, and a lot has happened since then!

Although I have been writing frequent blogs on the Facebook page, I have neglected the website, so its great to return to it.

After a rapid adaption to online teaching in mid-March of 2020, this became the main platform for the Yoga classes through to summer 2021. Since then in person classes have begun to resume, although I’m still teaching a couple of online ones, as this has proved to be convenient for some people due to time and location.

The early autumn also saw the beginning of the second part of the Yoga immersion. After such a long hiatus from such in person events, this was a wonderful way to return to these. As this part nears its conclusion soon, this time the participants have spent ten months studying the vinyasa krama sequences of the Krishnamacharya lineage, anatomy for yoga and the Bhagavad Gita which has generated some fascinating discussion. It has truly been a delight to deliver the immersion to all who were part of it.

Hopefully this study will continue on into the autumn with a focus on Pranayama and the Upanishads.

The Autumn should also see the beginning of some new classes and workshops, so keep an eye out for updates. The class schedule has also been brought up to date, just check out the class page here.

There is a wide variety of classes on it, if you have any questions or are looking to begin or resume a Yoga practice, please let me know.

Best wishes to you all,

Bruce.
